Rosey Rebecca – All Queer No Fear Campaign

Writer and maker, Rosey Rebecca (she/her) teamed up with her sister-in-law, Takira Rose, to create the design for their All Queer No Fear campaign. All proceeds will go directly to The Campaign for Southern Equality, who are working to build a South where LGBTQ people are equal in every sphere of life.

Here is Takira’s inspiration behind the phrase, “All Queer No Fear”.

“I think the thing I like best about All Queer No Fear is that it works on a few levels:

  1. Actually, as a queer/trans person, I’m afraid pretty much always because I know people like me are subject to abuse for no reason from time to time. I just told a coworker when she called me courageous that lots of trans folks hate hearing that we’re admired for our courage because we actually don’t want to be brave but would actually like folks who are in positions of influence to make things safe for us.
  2. But also like, as a signal to other people who don’t understand or accept queer people that there’s no reason to be afraid of us.
  3. But also, as a helpful reminder to self that it’s okay to be fully queer and that there’s no need to be afraid because you’re f*cking great as you are.

Oh, and also, it just sounds fun.”

You can find the rest of Rosey’s custom apparel in her Bonfire store, and be sure to check out her on her website and on Instagram.
