Nonprofit Highlight: National Forest Foundation

America’s National Forests span 193 million acres from Alaska to Puerto Rico. The National Forest Foundation (NFF) is the only conservation organization solely dedicated to improving these public lands for today and future generations. The NFF is headquartered in Missoula, Montana, but they serve communities across the United States.

Each year, NFF launches a new t-shirt fundraiser to raise awareness for National Forest Week. In 2020, they created the Forest State of Mind t-shirt, which they sold leading up to the big week, and encouraged their supporters to wear their shirts and post photos of themselves in the t-shirt with the hashtag #NationalForestWeek. By the end of the week, they had sold over 850 shirts and raised almost $6,000, making it one of their most successful Bonfire campaigns!

“We love working with the team at Bonfire to support our National Forests. The website and platform make it incredibly easy to monitor our campaign, make any adjustments and reach out to our supporters.”
– Hannah Featherman, Communications Manager at NFF
